Start with the host of the media
Third-party source media is normally hosted and published by the original source website or its media-delivery provider, not by NSFWDL. NSFWDL has no public upload system, catalog, or permanent media archive. If your complaint concerns a video or image still available on a source platform, send the notice to that platform because it controls the hosted material and can remove it at the source.
An opaque, temporary NSFWDL download reference is not a public listing and normally disappears after transfer or expiry. NSFWDL can still review a notice about a page, link, brand asset, or other material actually controlled by NSFWDL.
No safe-harbor claim
This policy offers a practical reporting process. It does not state that NSFWDL qualifies for any safe harbor under 17 U.S.C. §512 or another law. The repository contains no verified evidence that the operator has registered a designated DMCA agent with the U.S. Copyright Office, so NSFWDL does not claim to have one.
What to include in a copyright notice
For a notice concerning material or a link controlled by NSFWDL, provide:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act for the owner.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed, or a representative list if one notice covers multiple works at one location.
- Identification of the material or activity claimed to be infringing, and information reasonably sufficient for NSFWDL to locate it—preferably the exact stable NSFWDL page or opaque reference involved. Do not send passwords, source-site cookies, or unrelated browsing history.
- Your name and contact information: postal address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the complained-of use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner of the allegedly infringed right.
A knowingly material misrepresentation in a notice or counter-notice may have legal consequences. NSFWDL may ask for missing information and may forward a notice to the person responsible for controlled material where applicable.
Where to send it
Send copyright notices to smartulethtb@gmail.com with the subject “Copyright notice.” This is the operator's general legal contact, not a representation that it is a Copyright Office-registered designated agent.
Review and action
NSFWDL will review sufficiently specific notices concerning resources it can control and may disable a page, link, reference, Supporter credential, or access path where appropriate. The response depends on what NSFWDL actually controls; it cannot delete media from a third-party source site. No fixed outcome or response time is promised by this staging policy, though valid legal notices should be handled without avoidable delay.
Counter-notices
If NSFWDL removes controlled material based on a U.S. DMCA notice and a counter-notice procedure is legally applicable, the affected person may submit a signed response identifying the removed material and its former location; stating under penalty of perjury a good-faith belief that removal resulted from mistake or misidentification; giving their name, address, and telephone number; consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate U.S. Federal District Court (or, if outside the United States, a district where the service provider may be found); and agreeing to accept service of process from the original notifier or that person's agent.
NSFWDL may forward a counter-notice to the original claimant. Restoration, if any, will follow applicable law and may be withheld where another legal, safety, or terms-based reason independently requires removal. Because NSFWDL has no public user-upload system, this procedure may rarely apply.
Other rights and urgent abuse
Copyright is not the right process for non-consensual intimate imagery, exploitation, privacy violations, or immediate safety threats. Use the abuse and safety route for those reports. Do not attach CSAM or other illegal media.
