How to Download xHamster Videos
Copy the public xHamster video page address, paste it into the xHamster downloader, and choose a quality. Most xHamster videos are assembled into a single MP4 on NSFWDL's side first, so the download starts after a short, visible preparation step.
- Copy the xHamster video address. Open the video on xHamster and copy the page address from the address bar. Links from xHamster's regional and mirror domains work too.
- Paste it into the xHamster downloader. NSFWDL reads the public page and lists the qualities that video offers, usually from 240p or 480p up to 1080p.
- Pick a quality. On a phone, 720p is suggested as a good balance of size and sharpness; every listed quality stays selectable.
- Wait for the preparation, then save. xHamster streams video in small pieces, so NSFWDL first joins them into one MP4. The page shows how many MB are ready; the file then downloads like any other.
Why xHamster downloads need a moment
xHamster delivers most videos as a stream of short segments rather than one file. NSFWDL downloads those segments and joins them into a single MP4 without re-encoding, which usually takes a few seconds to about half a minute. The progress line counts the megabytes already prepared, so a long wait is visible rather than silent.
Sizes are usually estimates
Because the video is a stream, xHamster rarely states an exact file size up front. NSFWDL shows an estimate marked with a tilde, and the real size once the file is ready. Qualities whose estimate is clearly beyond the Free limit are listed under Supporter from the start, so you are not left waiting for a file that could not finish.
Mirror and regional xHamster links
xHamster runs the same videos on several domains and country subdomains. NSFWDL recognizes the official xHamster hosts and converts links from common mirrors to the main site before looking them up, so you can paste the address you already have.
If an xHamster download fails
- Make sure the link is a single video page, not a channel, search, or playlist.
- Private, removed, or region-blocked videos cannot be downloaded by any public tool.
- If a large quality stops at the Free limit, choose the next lower quality from the same list.
- If the page reports a temporary source problem, wait a minute and use Retry.
Questions about downloading from xHamster
Why does xHamster say 'Preparing the file' first?
Most xHamster videos arrive as short stream segments. NSFWDL joins them into one MP4 before sending it, and shows the progress while it does.
Do mirror or country links of xHamster work?
Yes. Official xHamster domains and common mirror links are recognized and resolved to the same video.
Why is the xHamster size marked with a tilde?
It is an estimate from the stream's bitrate and length. The exact size is known once the file has been prepared.
Is the video re-encoded?
No. The original segments are joined as they are, so quality stays the same as on xHamster.
