How to use the Rule34Video downloader

  1. Open the Rule34Video upload. Use the individual video page — the address with /video/ and a number — not a tag, search, or member page.
  2. Paste the page link above. NSFWDL reads the public page and lists the MP4 it exposes, which is often a single Original file.
  3. Start the download. The file streams directly to your browser; there is no preparation step for these MP4s.

Individual video pages only

Rule34Video tag listings, search results, and member pages are collections, not single videos. Paste the page of the one upload you want; NSFWDL checks that it is a real Rule34Video video page before looking up the file.

Why you usually see one Original file

Most Rule34Video uploads expose a single MP4 without a resolution ladder. NSFWDL labels it Original instead of guessing a height, so the choice you see is the file the page actually serves.

Download speed follows the source

Rule34Video delivers its MP4s at a modest rate, so a long animation can take a while even on a fast connection. The transfer resumes cleanly if your browser pauses it.

Size may be unknown until the transfer starts

Rule34Video does not always report a byte count for its files. NSFWDL shows the size as Unknown instead of estimating it, and measures the real size while the file downloads.

Rule34Video downloader FAQ

Why is there only one quality for this Rule34Video upload?

That page exposes one MP4. NSFWDL shows it as Original rather than inventing extra resolutions.

Can I download a whole Rule34Video tag or playlist?

No. NSFWDL works on one public video page at a time.

Why is my Rule34Video download slower than other sites?

Rule34Video serves its files at a lower rate than most sources; the speed you see is set by the source, not by your NSFWDL tier.
